West Village Spotlight- Touchstone Physical Therapy
A new tenant with high visibility is what you will see at the corner of Trellis Square, where Radio Shack once occupied space. Touchstone Physical Therapy is the latest business to relocate to the main strip on Rodney Parham in the West Village District.
Touchstone Physical Therapy was started in 2000 by Physical Therapist Michael Teston after working for another physical therapy group. Teston’s 37 years of experience and passion for what he does make him a friend to many and an ever present source of help to those that are in need of great physical therapy.
There are many benefits to physical therapy including helping arthritis, osteoporosis, mobility and functionality.
“Knowing your limitations is one of the most positive attributes you get from therapy.” Teston affirms.
Touchstone offers treatments to improve flexibility, mobility, and relieve pain. The most commonly treated ailments are pains in the lower back, neck, knees, and shoulders. Teston takes his time with his patients and offers a unique graduate program that includes the use of his facilities after treatment is over to continue to strengthen themselves for a small fee.
Insurance is accepted, but not required for treatment. Walk-ins are welcome.
Teston is married with two kids. He enjoys cycling, backpacking, hunting and fishing when he is not working to help patients feel their best.
